We are currently planning the new series of GP and Primary Care Webinars. Each session will be focused on the relevant clinical update with time for a Q+A session. The sessions are open to all Primary care, GPs, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and management and reception staff as the sessions will contain useful information for all Primary Care Staff.


We would like you to hold the following dates in your diary:

Proposed topics are:

  • Childhood respiratory infections – how to identify, manage and when to refer 
  • Long covid – management in primary care, local services and how to refer
  • Menopause management update and new clinic referral guidance
  • Update on new NICE guidance on AF and challenges in ECG interpretation
  • FBC interpretations – how to manage common abnormalities e.g. raised plt, low WCC, anaemia of uncertain cause
  • Prescribing update including drug dilemmas e.g. sick day rules and practicalities around steroid emergency cards
  • Choosing diabetic drugs in light of evolving evidence and guidance
  • How to manage common catheter complications
  • Update on the NICE chronic pain guidance and how to implement in primary care
  • Update on new NICE guidance on acne
  • Update on the changes to local vascular services and how to manage common conditions in primary care and when to refer. 
  • Abnormal LFTs – a guide to investigation and management in primary care
