Join us on Saturday 6 July from 10am - 3pm at St Peter's Hospital for our first ever Community Open day.
The Open Day is everyone in the community - patients, families, carers, schools, councils, local businesses, stakeholders and partners - to come together for a celebratory, fun, engaging and interactive day and to feel part of the hospital. We're planning a great range of activities including interactive stands, tours and health and wellbeing advice. Front-line clinical colleagues will be on hand to share their knowledge and expertise. We'll also share exciting investment plans to improve the hospitals and services we provide, including major improvements to our urgent and emergency services at St Peters Hospital. There will be food, drink, games and entertainment as well as visits by emergency service partners Surrey Police, Surrey Fire and Rescue and SECAmb. Interactive stands Clinicians from more than 20 different fields from physiotherapy to pharmacy and from audiology through to bariatric surgery will be sharing information about their services and what goes on behind the scenes. Health and wellbeing advice As part of our efforts to help you stay well, our medical, nursing and clinical teams will be sharing advice, skills and information. This might mean you won't even need some of our services in the future! Activities for children There'll be lots of fun activities for children and young people including a quiz and trail, a design competition and much more. There will be plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Food and drink and car parking You'll be able to spend the whole day with us as there will be food and drink available to buy. You'll be able to park your car for free too. |
