Your Appointment

What to expect from your appointment.

Please note that your child will need to STOP taking antihistamines for at least four days prior to their allergy appointment
Allergy tests can slow the clinic appointment down (as time is needed for the test to react). Your journey through the department is likely to include time with our doctors, nurses, dieticians, with diagnostic skin tests for most children.
Please allow two hours for your child's visit.
Available allergens a wide range of foods (milk, egg, soya, nuts, seafood, wheat, and aeroallergens such as pollen, dust, and animal dander). If you think your child has an allergy to any other food then please bring a small piece with you. For example, chicken - then a small piece cooked and raw.
Skin prick testing video.
